I started creating math games based on the mental math strategies when I was teaching second grade. I observed my students' fluency increase as well as their overall confidence in math. However, my math curriculum did not have games to use to continue to reinforce the concepts…. Do you have that problem too?

These games are all based on the Derived Facts Strategies, also known as mental math strategies.

An engaging GAME and each of the following mental math addition strategies:

  • Plus Zero
  • Count Up +1
  • Count Up +2
  • Count Up +3
  • Flip Flop (commutative)
  • Doubles
  • Doubles +1
  • Tens Partners
  • Plus Ten
  • Plus Nine
